CELER Merchants vs Elavon

CELER Merchants is an independent agent, not a processor: we make the providers we work with compete for your account, and the service costs you $0. Elavon is a payments provider, and it publishes some of its pricing. This page sets out what Elavon says on its own site, where it is strong, and where an agent can help.

What Elavon is

Elavon describes itself as a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank, serving clients across the United States, Europe and Canada. It runs a separate Canadian site (elavon.ca). Sources: Elavon about page, checked 1 Nov 2026.

Where Elavon is strong

  • Funding options. Elavon's pricing page says merchants can receive funding seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Support. The page says its locally based, multilingual support team is available 24/7.
  • One platform. Elavon describes managing transactions, chargebacks and reporting from a single platform.
  • An interchange-based option. Elavon says it can process a payment at the lowest interchange rate connected to that card type. Source: Elavon pricing page.

What CELER Merchants is

We do not process payments and we do not hold your money. We read your statement, name every fee (usually within 4 hours), then take your profile to the providers we work with and show you every offer that comes back. You choose. The provider you choose pays us, so the service costs you $0. CELER Merchants is an independent agent and referral partner, not a processor.

Elavon figures are taken from Elavon pricing page as of 1 Nov 2026. The pricing page does not say which plan the $0 fees apply to, and it does not define "qualified". Ask for the plan, the rate for non-qualified transactions and the markup over interchange in writing. Prices change: check the provider's page and your own agreement before you decide.

Contract and equipment terms

Monthly fees, PCI fees and equipment lease terms were not published on the Elavon pages we read.

Where an agent can help

  • Reading what you pay today. Send a statement and we name every fee and work out your effective rate (total fees divided by total card volume).
  • Shopping more than one provider. Elavon will quote you Elavon. We take the same statement to several providers and bring the offers back side by side.
  • Negotiating and checking the paper. Rates, monthly fees, equipment terms and exit terms are what we ask for in writing before you sign.

Which fits you?

If Elavon's published pricing and features suit your business, staying can be the right call. Compare the rate you see above with your own effective rate; the published rate is a starting point, not a quote for your account. Our statement analysis does that comparison for you, and the savings calculator gives a first estimate in about a minute. We are happy to tell you when your current pricing is already good.
