What Global Payments is
Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN) describes itself as a leading payment technology and software company that powers commerce for businesses of all sizes worldwide. It announced on 12 January 2026 that it had completed its acquisition of Worldpay and the divestiture of its Issuer Solutions business to FIS. Where Global Payments is strong
- Published POS plans. Global Payments' pricing page lists three point-of-sale plans with a monthly software price. Source: Global Payments pricing page.
- Restaurant, retail and service coverage. The pricing page is written for restaurants, retail shops, service businesses and large enterprises.
- A listed company with Worldpay in the group. Global Payments is publicly listed and, since January 2026, includes Worldpay.

We do not process payments and we do not hold your money. We read your statement, name every fee (usually within 4 hours), then take your profile to the providers we work with and show you every offer that comes back. You choose. Global Payments figures are taken from Global Payments pricing page as of 1 Nov 2026. The monthly figures are for the software subscription on a single station in a standard configuration. The page says the processing rate applies to certain in-person card transactions, that online and card-not-present rates may vary, that interchange and assessments are not included in the software price, and that final pricing is subject to underwriting. Prices change: check the provider's page and your own agreement before you decide.
Contract and equipment terms
Contract length, early termination, equipment lease and PCI fee amounts were not visible in the page text we read.
