CELER Merchants vs Adyen

CELER Merchants is an independent agent, not a processor: we make the providers we work with compete for your account, and the service costs you $0. Adyen is a payments provider, and it publishes some of its pricing. This page sets out what Adyen says on its own site, where it is strong, and where an agent can help.

What Adyen is

Adyen is a payments platform operated by Adyen N.V., a company registered in the Netherlands, as named in its terms and conditions. It publishes its pricing on a public page. Source: Adyen pricing page, checked 1 Nov 2026.

Where Adyen is strong

  • Published structure. Adyen says that for each transaction it charges a fixed processing fee plus a fee determined by the payment method.
  • No monthly or setup fees. Its pricing page says it has no monthly fees, set-up fees, integration fees or closure fees, but does have a minimum invoice depending on industry or business model.
  • Interchange-based card pricing. The card rows are published as interchange-plus style pricing, which passes the card networks' costs through at cost.

Adyen figures are taken from Adyen pricing page as of 1 Nov 2026. Adyen labels these figures as indicative and invites merchants to get in touch for pricing options. The table is a payment-method list, not an in-person tariff, and the Global row is not tied to a single country. Adyen's minimum invoice may matter for a small merchant. Prices change: check the provider's page and your own agreement before you decide.

Contract and equipment terms

Contract length and PCI fee terms were not published on the Adyen pricing page.

Where an agent can help

  • Reading what you pay today. Send a statement and we name every fee and work out your effective rate (total fees divided by total card volume).
  • Shopping more than one provider. Adyen will quote you Adyen. We take the same statement to several providers and bring the offers back side by side.
  • Negotiating and checking the paper. Rates, monthly fees, equipment terms and exit terms are what we ask for in writing before you sign.

Which fits you?

If Adyen's published pricing and features suit your business, staying can be the right call. Compare the rate you see above with your own effective rate; the published rate is a starting point, not a quote for your account. Our statement analysis does that comparison for you, and the savings calculator gives a first estimate in about a minute. We are happy to tell you when your current pricing is already good.
