TouchBistro pricing: what TouchBistro publishes
Two monthly prices, both asterisked, and no card rate. The figures that decide a restaurant's annual cost are in the sales quote — but the terms of service publish exactly how that quote behaves once it is signed.
What the pricing page publishes
TouchBistro's pricing page, checked on 17 September 2026, opens with "everything you need to run your business, starting at $89/month" and sets out three options.
| Plan | Published price | What the page lists | Footnote on the page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Point of Sale | Starting at $89 per month | Menu management, reporting and analytics, floor plan and table management, staff management, 24/7 support, integrations. Marked "hardware required" | Hardware, payment processing and additional fees apply |
| Essentials Bundle | Starting at $99 per month | Everything above, plus integrated payments and restaurant-grade hardware | Payment processing and additional fees apply |
| Custom Setup | Quoted | The same list plus additional front-of-house, back-of-house and guest engagement solutions | Quoted on request |
Read the two footnotes together and the shape of the real bill becomes clear. The published difference between the two headline plans is $10 a month; the unpublished difference is a set of restaurant terminals and a card rate, which are far larger numbers than $10. Add-ons — inventory, labour, kitchen display, online ordering, reservations, loyalty and gift cards — are each quoted rather than priced.
What TouchBistro does not publish
- Any card-processing rate: no percentage, no per-transaction amount, no split by card type or channel.
- Any hardware price, for a terminal, a customer-facing display or a kitchen display.
- Add-on module prices.
- The contract length, which its terms leave to the Sales Quote.
- Installation, menu build and training costs.
The terms of service, which publish more than the pricing page
TouchBistro's terms of service, read on 17 September 2026, are the more informative document for a buyer, because they describe the mechanics that apply whatever numbers end up on the quote.
Term and renewal
The agreement runs for the number of months stated beside "Initial Term" in the Sales Quote. On expiry, unless the quote says otherwise, it automatically renews for a period equivalent to the Initial Term, unless either party delivers written notice at least 30 days beforehand. A three-year initial term therefore renews into another three years, not into a rolling month, and the window to stop that is 30 days wide. That date belongs in a calendar on the day you sign.
Price changes
Except as expressly provided in the Sales Quote, TouchBistro reserves the right to change fees on 30 days' prior written notice. A merchant who does not accept a change must object in writing before it takes effect, and may then cancel effective at the expiry of the then-current term — not immediately. The same route applies to material changes to the terms themselves.
The Default Amount
Where TouchBistro terminates the agreement because the merchant is in default, the terms set out three amounts that become payable at once: repayment of the entire incentive, if an incentive was disclosed in the Sales Quote; the entire amount of any software licence fees, hardware fees or payments; and other amounts, including payment processing fees, that would have been payable over the balance of the then-current term. Together these are defined as the Default Amount, which the terms state is a genuine pre-estimate of liquidated damages rather than a penalty.
How to price TouchBistro properly
- Ask for the card rate in full — percentage and per item, by card type and by channel — in writing, before the quote is signed.
- Ask for the hardware schedule: the device list, whether it is bought, included or financed, and the monthly amount if financed.
- Ask for the Initial Term in months, and write down the date 31 days before it expires.
- Ask whether any incentive or discount is being applied, and what repaying it would cost, since incentives feed straight into the Default Amount.
- Then compare that twelve-month total with a quote where the processing sits under a separate agreement.
How an independent agent's quote differs
We place the merchant account separately from the POS and name every component: interchange as the card networks publish it, network assessments, and our markup on its own line. A restaurant can then run TouchBistro as its POS and still hold the processing to a rate it can see and renegotiate. Whether that beats a bundled quote depends on your volume and ticket size, which is what the free statement analysis measures against your own last three months.

Its pricing page, checked on 17 September 2026, publishes point of sale starting at $89 a month and an Essentials Bundle starting at $99 a month, plus a Custom tier quoted on request. Both prices carry an asterisk: the page states that hardware, payment processing and additional fees apply to the $89 plan, and that payment processing and additional fees apply to the $99 bundle.
Not published. The pricing page names integrated payments as an inclusion of the Essentials Bundle but publishes no percentage, no per-transaction amount and no rate by card type, as read on 17 September 2026.
The length is not published — its terms of service state that the Initial Term is whatever number of months appears in the Sales Quote. The terms do publish what happens next: the agreement automatically renews for a period equivalent to the Initial Term unless either party gives at least 30 days' written notice.
A term defined in its terms of service, read on 17 September 2026. Where TouchBistro terminates the agreement for merchant default, the merchant repays the entire amount of any incentive received, pays the entire amount of any software licence fees, hardware fees or payments, and pays other amounts including processing fees that would have been payable over the balance of the then-current term. The terms describe it as liquidated damages and not a penalty.
No. The pricing page states that hardware is required for the $89 plan and included in the $99 Essentials Bundle, and its FAQ confirms hardware financing is offered for venues with two or more terminals, but no device price is published.
